How Viseum IMCs Work 24/7/365
Any configuration of Viseum’s Intelligent PTZ Camera Array, working with any one of Viseum’s CCTV DVR Camera Controllers, is known as the Viseum Intelligent Moving Camera or Viseum IMC.
The fixed contextual view cameras are the “all seeing eyes” of the Viseum IMC technology, these cameras constantly and automatically monitor all individuals, groups of people and vehicles in its field of view. Particular chosen activity in certain areas then automatically controls the PTZ to zoom into and follow the activity. It is very easy to instruct the Viseum IMC what areas to look for activity and what areas to ignore.
Intelligent PTZ Camera Array
Up to 7 high resolution cameras in one unit for wide contextual view evidence with each close-up incident:
- Up to 6 fixed high resolution cameras for up to 360 degrees coverage – event detection and contextual view evidence
- 1 x high resolution Pan, Tilt and Zoom camera – close up evidence – Pelco Spectra, Esprit and Bosch MIC series
CCTV DVR Camera Controller
A complete CCTV scheme protecting an area up to the size of 14 football pitches, automatically, from just one box:
High Performance Dual Core computer (various models to suit requirements)
- Virtual CCTV Operator software for intelligent automated target detection, selection and PTZ camera control
- Integrated Auto-intelligent Digital Video Recorder (AiDVR) Software with 30 days local storage (for primary use or backup storage)
- Alternatively all cameras, or typically just the PTZ, can be fed into any other storage solution and patched though to Viseum’s CCTV DVR Camera Controller
There are 3 main models of CCTV DVR Camera Controllers available to suit various environments applications and budgets, for installation local to the camera. e.g. installed either inside or on the CCTV column, or standard street lighting column.
