Viseum’s Intellectual Property Rights

Testament to Viseum being the world’s leading brand in the new IMC market place is our International Patent. This hardware patent provides 20 years protection for one or more fixed cameras co-located with a moving PTZ camera installed on a common structure (pole or wall).

As Viseum provides the most effective, practical and cost efficient method for deploying and using IMC technology, any non-Viseum branded IMC system is noticeably inferior and an illegal copy in breach of International Law.

The key benefit of Viseum’s patented IMC method is by constantly gathering and analysing the real time and historical activity of suspects from fixed cameras, it continually predicts accurately where, and how far, to automatically direct the PTZ cameras optical zoom, no matter how many suspects are being followed, which separate directions they go, or if they speed up, slow down, or change direction. This system therefore consistently captures close-up court evidence of singular or multiple events.

Protected Markets

Central to our business is the commercial protection we provide our partners in sharing our secured markets. We have invested heavily in the protection and policing of our intellectual property rights (IPR), to protect our developed markets.

We commit to the policing of this IPR in the following way: As with any infringement, its trade reseller is the primary target for legal action, which is in turn followed up by making the potential user aware of the infringing product’s recall due to its illegal use. This is then followed up with full and complete legal action with the suppliers of such goods. The policy of proactive policing our markets in this way since 2002 has proven so successful that we have only ever identified one infringing party. A PLC entity was found to be trading with infringing goods and they can now no longer sell such goods into our international territories, nor can they secure investment due to this breach.
